At a meeting in Sarajevo, Task Force members were presented a draft Manual for Conducting Investigations in Cases of Trafficking in Human Beings, which was developed with the support of the OSCE Mission to BiH.
Gordana Tadić, Acting Chief Prosecutor and Task Force leader, chaired the meeting of the Task Force for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings and Organised Illegal Immigration, which was held in Sarajevo.
Participants at the meeting and Task Force members were presented a draft manual titled ‘Trafficking in Human Beings – Manual for Conducting Investigations’, which is intended for prosecutors and the police. The manual was developed with the support of the OSCE Mission to BiH and it presents modalities and specifics of conducting investigations in cases involving criminal offences of trafficking in human beings, as well as investigative methods and specifics of collecting evidence in these cases.
During the meeting, the Task Force members also talked about practical experience, specifics of conducting investigations, investigative methods and evidence used in such cases.
The Task Force for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings and Organised Illegal Immigration is composed of members of the police, judicial and security agencies at the State, Entity and Brčko District levels, as well as of other institutions involved in the work on such cases, and it carries out activities aimed at improving prosecution of criminal offences of trafficking in human beings and illegal migration in BiH.
