Representatives of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the participants with the history, results, organization and competence of these judicial institutions.
Representative of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Head of the Public Relations Department Boris Grubešić, presented the attendees with information related to the history of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the internal organization of this judicial institution, as well as results achieved in the fifteen years of its existence, with emphasis on the prosecution of war crimes cases and organized crime.
Representatives of the local community have been explained how they can communicate with judicial institutions, express their interest in cases in which they appear as witnesses or injured parties and how the associations of war crimes victims can communicate successfully with the judiciary, and they were given all other information and explanations of interest to the local community representatives from Mostar and its surroundings.
Conferences and meetings of representatives of BiH judicial institutions are organized by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights with the support of the U.S. Embassy to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
