TASK FORCE COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING AND ILLEGAL MIGRATION MET IN BRČKO

Representatives of judicial, police and security institutions discussed the activities and current challenges in the area.

The meeting of the Task Force Combating Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration was held in Brčko and chaired by the Acting Chief Prosecutor of the BiH Prosecutor’s Office - Gordana Tadić.

Members of the Task force are representatives of judicial, police and security institutions from the state level, both entities and Brčko District of BiH.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the European Commission and the OSCE Mission to BiH.

Central topics of the meeting were the report on the activities realized in 2017, as well as planned activities and realization of planned activities in the current year.

Current events related to the issues of illegal migration and trafficking in persons were discussed at the meeting as well activities that BiH institutions should undertake to prevent any disturbance of security in BiH due to problems related to illegal migration and trafficking in persons.
