INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR THE ATTACK AGAINST AN AUTHORIZED OFFICIAL OF BIH BORDER POLICE

Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following person:

- Dalibor Pipunić, born in 1980 in Brčko, a citizen of the Republic of Croatia

The accused is charged with having arrived, on 3 October 2017 at about 21:20 hours, at the IBC Brčko - entrance from the Republic of Croatia to BiH with a motor vehicle Opel Corsa. During border control performed by police officers of the Border Police of BiH, the individual in question began to swear and insult the employees of the Border Police on ethnic and BiH nationality grounds. Once in official premises he continued cursing and insulting and then physically attacked a border police officer with the intent to hurt him. He was physically prevented and subdued by a border police officer.

The accused is charged with attack and serious threat of attack on authorized officials of BiH institutions thereby committing the criminal offense of Attack against the Official Person on Tasks of Security, Detection and Apprehension of Perpetrators of Criminal Offences under Article 241b (1) of the CC BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH.
