On 30 August at 20:30 a meeting was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the following parties were present: Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH Gordana Tadić, Deputy Chief Prosecutor Ozrenka Nešković, Prosecutor Ćazim Hasanspahić and the heads of police and security agencies: Deputy Director of SIPA Đuro Knežević, Deputy Director of ISA BiH Trifko Buha and Deputy Director of DCPB BiH Mile Jurić.
The meeting was held to address the current situation and different information that appeared in public regarding the work of judicial institutions and police and security agencies, and in relation to the findings concerning unlawful surveillance of movements and conversations of the Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and the Vice President of the HJPC BiH.
Further joint activities have been agreed at the meeting with the aim to diminish tensions that have emerged in the public and to continue the cooperation of institutions, within their competencies, in order to fully determine the facts and circumstances related to recent events. The public will be informed as soon as appropriate checks are undertaken.
