THE ACCUSED IN THE CASE CODENAMED ‘PAPIRUS’ ENTERS INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The accused Savo Manojlović (1967), who has been accused of the identity theft and of making false documents within a case codenamed ‘Papirus’, has admitted his guilt and signed a Plea Agreement in the presence of his defence attorney, in relation to the criminal offences committed in the period from 2013 to 2016.  

THE ACCUSED IN THE CASE CODENAMED ‘PAPIRUS’ ENTERS INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING GUILT

The aforementioned accused has admitted his guilt for the commission of the criminal offense of Organised Crime, as referred to in Article 342, Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Forgery of a Document, as referred to in Article 373, Paragraph 2 as read with Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the criminal offense of Certification of Untrue Content, as referred to in Article 375, Paragraphs 1 and 2 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.   

In accordance with this Plea Agreement, both the Prosecutor and the aforementioned accused person agree that the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina imposes upon the accused a sentence of imprisonment for a term of two (2) years and six (6) months, as well as that all the objects used for the perpetration of the criminal offense in question, mobile phones included, be forfeited in accordance with Article 74 of the Criminal Code of Bosna and Herzegovina.

The proposed sentence corresponds to the role that this accused person had in the commission of the said criminal offence.

The accused confirms that he is informed of the content of the Plea Agreement and he also confirms that he enters this plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding, and he takes upon himself an obligation to bear the costs arising from the criminal proceedings, in the amount that may be determined by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused waives his right to a trial and right to appeal to the Judgment rendered against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
