CONTINUATION AND FURTHERANCE OF CO-OPERATION BETWEEN SARAJEVO ICTY/MICT OFFICE AND PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH

A meeting was held today in the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH between Mrs Gordana Tadić, Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, along with her associates and Ms Margriet Prins, Head of ICTY OTP Office in Sarajevo, in which they discussed about further cooperation with the ICTY and the MICT.

In accordance with the conclusions of the meeting with the ICTY Chief Prosecutor, Mr Serge Brammertz, which was held in May this year, the ongoing cooperation between these offices has been continued for the purpose of prosecuting war crimes cases more efficiently.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has open and good cooperation with partner institutions, as well as with associations of victims from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to effectively detect and prosecute war crime perpetrators in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
