Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina has issued an Indictment against:
- MLADEN VOKIĆ, born in 1976 in Prijedor, with prior convictions, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the allegations in the Indictment, Vokić is charged with transporting a larger quantity of dry cut tobacco, on 14 October 2016, which was not labelled with excise stamps as prescribed by the tax legislation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and which he intended to put into circulation.
On the above-mentioned day, this accused person was transporting thirty (30) kilograms of dry cut tobacco in his passenger’s motor vehicle headed for Sanski Most, which was packed in sixty (60) nylon bags of half a kilo each.
During the inspection of the said motor vehicle, authorized officers seized the aforementioned tobacco.
This accused person is charged with the commission of the criminal offense of Illicit Trade in Excise Products, as referred to in Article 210a, paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 26 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation.
