EXHUMATION COMPLETED IN THE AREA OF DONJI VAKUF MUNICIPALITY

At the site of Pašalići-Prusac, in Donji Vakuf Municipality, an exhumation process was completed and incomplete mortal remains of at least two persons were found.

An Investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes at the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina was directly supervising the activities in the field and coordinating the exhumation process, upon the order of the Prosecutor in charge of the respective case. 

The exhumation process was conducted with the participation of officers of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, an expert forensic pathologist, the workers and mechanization required, as well as police officers of the Ministry of the Interior of the Central Bosnia Canton.

After the exhumation, the mortal remains were transported to the dissecting room of the City Cemeteries of Visoko, where forensic processing will be conducted and bone samples will be taken for the DNA analysis.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, along with all the institutions involved in the process of tracing and identifying missing persons, continues with its intensive activities aimed at finding missing persons in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
