TASK FORCE COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING MET, PRIORITIES FOR ACTION AND COOPERATION IN THE FUTURE DEFINED

The Task Force Combating Human Trafficking and Illegal Migration meeting was held at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and chaired by the Acting Chief Prosecutor, Gordana Tadić.

The meeting was attended by members of the Task Force from judicial, police, security and taxation authorities from the state level, entity level and Brčko District. The central topics of the meeting were related to the analysis of the activities undertaken by the judiciary, police and security agencies in the fight against human trafficking, protection of trafficking victims, as well as the fight against illegal migration.

BiH institutions have worked on cases which related not only to sexual exploitation of trafficked persons but also to labor exploitation of BiH citizens, which included exploitation of minors and exploitation of BiH citizens abroad.

Task Force Combating Human Trafficking exchanges information and coordinates activities to ensure successful prevention, detection and prosecution of trafficking offenses, as well as identification and protection of victims.
