UPON THE ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA, AN OFFICER OF BIH ITA WAS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY DURING THE HANDOVER OF THE MARKED MONEY
Acting upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Order of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) have deprived the following suspect of liberty in the area of Sarajevo:
- Šefkija Dacić, born in 1959.
This suspect, who is the Head of the Customs Office in Zvornik, was deprived of liberty during the handover of unlawfully acquired property gain in the form of marked banknotes, which was offered so that he would misuse his office and facilitate the return of certain items seized during the commission of the customs offense, a motor vehicle included, to the perpetrator of the offense in question.
In a decisive action of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and SIPA, this suspect was discovered and prevented from doing the aforementioned.
The Prosecutor in charge of this case will question the suspect and subsequently decide on further activities in accordance with the law.
