BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE FORMED A SPECIAL TEAM TO INVESTIGATE TERRORIST ATTACK IN ZVORNIK

Upon the order of the Chief Prosecutor, an investigation team has been formed, consisting of Prosecutors from the Section for Terrorism of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as of Investigators and Legal Officers who will work on the investigation in this case.

Prosecutors and other staff will work together with the police officers of the Republika Srpska Ministry of the Interior, officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) and partner institutions on collecting evidence and conducting investigative activities with the aim of fully elucidating the terrorist attack in Zvornik.

As ordered by the Chief Prosecutor, an on-site investigation was conducted in the course of the previous night and forensic traces were taken from the crime scene. Further investigative actions will be conducted to establish the motives of this attack and connection of other persons or accomplices who participated in the commission of the criminal offense in question.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and police agencies continue working intensively in order to establish all the circumstances of the committed criminal offense.
