BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE CANNOT AND WILL NOT STOP THE PROCESS OF PRIVATIZATION OF THE DITA COMPANY

BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE ONLY INVESTIGATES ELEMENTS OF CRIME AND CRIMINAL RESPONSIBILITY AND WE WILL NOT BE STOPPED IN THAT PROCESS BY ANYONE, REGARDLESS OF THE PRESSURES OF THE TUZLA CANTON GOVERNMENT

The activities of the Tuzla Canton Government with respect to the privatization of the Dita Company are not, and cannot be, stopped by the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is solely engaged in the aspect of criminal prosecution of perpetrators, provided that elements of criminal offenses be established.

The work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina bears no connection whatsoever to the process of privatization, initiation of production or interrelations and outstanding claims between the Tuzla Canton Government, shareholders and other persons involved in the process, nor does it block this process in any way. 

We will not allow any pressures by anyone, not even by the Tuzla Canton Government, in the process of conducting investigative activities.

We would like to tell the workers that the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina is solely engaged in the aspect of criminal prosecution of perpetrators and that we cannot, and will not, influence the work of the Tuzla Canton Government in any way.

We urge all individuals who have information on any criminal activities of the aforementioned company to report it to the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
