INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE

A Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Lepenica Emir - born on February 16, 1994, charging him with the criminal offense of Obstruction of Justice in violation of Article 241 of the CC BiH.

The accused is charged with using internet-based social network to send threats to one Prosecutor in the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH in connection with the prosecution of a case v. Zijad Turković et al.

The accused is charged with using threats and intimidation to interfere with the exercise of official duties by a Prosecutor in relation to criminal proceedings conducted pursuant to the Criminal Code of BiH thus committing the criminal offense of Obstruction of Justice under Article 241 of the CC BiH.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
