OPERATION “DAMASCUS” CARRIED OUT UNDER AN ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) expresses its appreciation to all police agencies involved in the activities aimed at detecting and prosecuting persons suspected of crimes of terrorism.

Under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, several hundreds of police officers are active in the field and the activities were carried out in cooperation with SIPA, ISA BiH, Republika Srpska Ministry of Interior (RS MoI), Brčko District Police, Federation Police Department and respective Cantonal Ministries of Interior.

Moreover, significant international cooperation was effected in this case.

The Prosecutors Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina are monitoring and will keep on monitoring instances and activities of organizations and individuals in Bosnia and Herzegovina that can be brought in connection with terrorism and terrorist activities.
