Today, Investigators of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina entered the National Museum in Sarajevo, where they will confiscate and inspect the documentation pertaining to this institution’s business operations and they will check the condition of the exhibits.
These activities are being conducted as part of the case formed upon the order of the Chief Prosecutor, all for the purpose of checking the situation in this institution in which material of great cultural and historical value for Bosnia and Herzegovina is being kept.
As part of these checkups, an analysis of the documentation will be performed in order to determine whether there are elements of criminal liability of persons responsible for the current situation and for endangering the cultural and historical heritage.
The National Museum contains exhibits from all historical periods of existence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which represent an extremely important cultural and historical heritage of our country.
