The accused Aleksandar Đokanović has entered into a Plea Agreement admitting guilt for the committed criminal offense of Preventing an Official Person in the Exercise of Official Duty, as referred to in Article 241a, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused Aleksandar Đokanović, born on 27 November 1985 in Ljubovija in the Republic of Serbia, resident of Bratunac, with prior convictions, a citizen of BiH, has entered into a Plea Agreement admitting guilt for the criminal offense he is charged with by the Indictment of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued on 03 January 2014.
In accordance with this Plea Agreement, a suspended sentence of imprisonment in the duration of eight (8) months is proposed to be imposed on this accused person, which will not be carried out if this accused person does not perpetrate another criminal offense over a period of two (2) years.
By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused person confirms to have entered his plea of guilty voluntarily, consciously and with understanding, and he waives his right to a trial and right to appeal to the Verdict imposed upon him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused is aware that he may bear the expenses of the criminal proceedings in the amount determined by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, depending on the complexity of the proceedings.
The accused Aleksandar Đokanović is charged with failing to comply with an order when requested to do so by authorized official persons of the Border Police of BiH in the border area of Pobrđe in Bratunac Municipality, in the zone of responsibility of the Zvornik Border Police Unit, while driving an Opel Combo truck, and refusing to open the trunk of his vehicle, subsequent to which he started the engine with an intent to escape; after the conducted search, he was found and arrested in Bratunac.
The Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of BiH.
