Heads and Prosecutors of the Special Department for War Crimes met with the delegation of the Association of Victims from Sanski Most at the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The central topics of this meeting pertained to the current work and future dynamics of prosecution of war crimes cases relating to the area of Sanski Most and its surroundings.
The visitors had an opportunity to engage in direct discussion with Prosecutors from the Special Department for War Crimes assigned to cases pertaining to this region and to get information on the work to date and activities related to these cases, as well as on the difficulties Prosecutors are facing while working on cases and collecting evidence.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH maintains very good cooperation with associations of war crimes victims from all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is one of the priorities in the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The families of war crimes victims and the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH have the same goal, which is to detect, prosecute and punish perpetrators of war crimes, whereas cooperation with victims is of paramount importance for achieving this goal.
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will continue developing and improving good relations and cooperation with associations of victims and local communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
