ORDER OF PROHIBITING MEASURES REQUESTED FOR A SUSPECT DETAINED IN THE CASE CODENAMED "LUTKA 2"

The Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of BiH to order prohibiting measures for a person suspected of the criminal offense of Organized Crime under Article 250 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195 of the CC BiH.

The suspect for whom the order of prohibiting measures was requested is one Fadil Schollbauer, born on January 11, 1955 in the municipality Istok in Kosovo, residing in Sarajevo - municipality of Novi Grad, a citizen of the Republic of Austria.

Schollbauer was arrested in Sarajevo by authorized officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA on March 5, 2014 and handed over, within the legal deadline, to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

The suspect was arrested due to existence of grounds for suspicion that he had participated, as a member of an organized criminal group, in the transfer of Heroin from Turkey to Western Europe.

Within the framework of this investigation significant cooperation was achieved with EULEX and judicial and police authorities of the Republic of Austria.

Following the questioning of the suspect, the Assigned Prosecutor filed a motion for order of prohibiting measures on grounds stipulated in Articles 126 and 126a. of the CPC BiH i.e. travel ban, withdrawal of travel documents together with the prohibition of issuance of new travel documents, prohibition to use the identity card for crossing the State border, ban on meeting with other suspects in the case as well as reporting to a relevant police station once a week.

Motion for order of prohibiting measures was submitted to the Court of BiH and the Prosecutor's Office of BiH continues its investigation into this matter with the aim to indict.
