INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST DOBRICA VIDOVIĆ AND MIROSLAV MIŠIĆ

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against two persons charging them with the criminal offense of Crimes against Humanity under Article 172, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph h) in conjunction with Subparagraph a), and Article 180, Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST DOBRICA VIDOVIĆ AND MIROSLAV MIŠIĆ

Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against the following persons:

-        Dobrica Vidović, born on October 13, 1967 in Kakanj, residing in Bijeljna, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia and

-        Miroslav Mišić, born on July 8, 1970 in Vitkovci - Tešanj municipality, residing in Doboj, BiH citizen.

The aforementioned accused persons are charged to have, as members of the Jahorina Training Center of the Special Police Brigade within the RS MoI, 1st Company, 3d Squad, during the period from July 10, to July 19, 1995 and during the course of the attack by the RS Army and the RS MoI on the UN safe area of Srebrenica, acted individually and together with others and persecuted Bosniak civilians on political, national, ethnic, cultural and religious grounds, by way of killing civilians.

The accused are charged to have on the evening of July 13, 1995 in Sandići a place located in Bratunac, on the road that connects the town of Bratunac and Konjević Polje, along with other members of the unit captured Bosniak men who were trying to escape i.e. captured and executed by shooting 10 captured Bosniak men. Six of the men were wounded and they fired bursts from automatic rifles at them as they laid on the grass beside the road.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
