EXHUMATION OF VICTIMS KILLED DURING THE PAST WAR IN ROGATICA MUNICIPALITY CONTINUED

An exhumation in Rogatica municipality continued under the supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.

An exhumation at the location of Krive Strane in Rogatica municipality continued. Incomplete skeletal remains of several persons were unearthed. The exhumation will continue in the upcoming days.

The recovered remains shall be transported to PUC Town Cemetery Visoko for forensic processing i.e. determination of the cause of death and collection of DNA samples in order to determine the identity of the victims.

The exhumation process is supervised by a Legal Officer of the Special Department for War crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor specializing in forensic medicine and Police Officers of PS Rogatica.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the remains of the missing in all parts of BiH.
