MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF BIH VISITED THE SITE OF TOMAŠICA

Members of the Armed Forces were out in the field today to prepare for the drafting of an operational plan for the deployment of mechanization of the Armed Forces of BiH aiming to expedite the exhumation process.

At the request of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the BiH Presidency has approved the use of machinery of the AF BiH in the aim to expedite the process of exhumation.

Members of the Armed Forces of BiH who visited the grounds at the exhumation site Tomašica, shall draft a report and assessment of the equipment required to continue the exhumation.

In addition to efforts on the exhumation, many other activities are intensified in the field and are related to the process of identification of missing persons and establishing the identity of the victims.

The process of exhumation and identification of the missing persons is one of the priorities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, which was repeatedly emphasized, and this process is particularly important because of the families of war crimes victims who have been searching for the remains of their loved ones for over two decades.
