The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Milorad Došlić, charged with the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods, as referred to in Article 214, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Prosecutor of the Department III of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Milorad Došlić, born on 06 April 1970 in Doboj Municipality, where he also resides, citizen of BiH.
As alleged in the Indictment, on 15 May 2013, around 7 PM, Milorad Došlić drove his truck to the Gradina/Jasenovac border crossing, leaving Bosnia and Herzegovina and moving towards the Republic of Croatia.
The accused Došlić avoided measures of customs control and told the authorized Border Police officials that he did not have any taxable goods in his vehicle, nor any other goods for transport, subsequent to which the authorized officials performed a detailed inspection of the respective vehicle. On that occasion, in hidden places inside the vehicle, they found 1990 packs of cigarettes of various kinds, in the total value of BAM 7,104.00, which the accused Milorad Došlić intended to transport to Italy for further sale.
In this manner, the accused avoided customs control measures and moved across the customs line goods of larger value, whereby he committed the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods, as referred to in Article 214, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
