Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against I.S. (1986) from Vinkovci, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Croatia.
The indictment of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH charges I.S. to have, during the period from November 3, 2011 to April 3, 2012 prepared conditions for putting counterfeit money into circulation by way of offering a percentage of the nominal value of banknotes to two persons he offered to sell the counterfeit banknotes in denominations of 500 Euros which, as he said, would be obtained from Austria, as well as counterfeit banknotes in denominations of 50, 100 and 200 Euros originally from Bulgaria. Once these individuals have expressed interest in buying these fake banknotes, he undertook actions in order to create conditions for direct circulation of counterfeit money.
According to the indictment, in addition to the previously described criminal offense, the accused is charged to have on November 3, 2011 put on the market the amount of 7.781.72 grams of marijuana ("skunk") for an amount of 10 000 Euros. On the same day, the accused I.S. offered the narcotics: heroin, cocaine, and the mixture used to produce a narcotic drug MDMA - "ecstasy" for sale. The listed drugs are declared narcotic drugs by law and placed on the list of narcotics, psychotropic substances and plants from which drugs and precursors can be obtained, the cultivation, manufacture, transport, possession and use of which are prohibited under Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the Law on Prevention and Suppression of Drug Abuse ("Official Gazette of BiH", No. 8/06).
The accused I.S. is charged with the criminal offense of Preparation of a Criminal Offense under Article 248, in conjunction with Counterfeiting of Money under Article 205, Paragraph 1of the CC BiH, as well as the continued criminal offense of Unauthorized Production and Sale of Narcotic Drugs under Article 238, Paragraph 1 of the CC FBiH in conjunction with Article 55 of the same Code, all in conjunction with Article 53 of the CC BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
