Prosecutor of the Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against Edina Kljajić, born on 27 May 1980 in Cazin, where she also resides, citizen of BiH, for the Impermissible Use of Copyrights.
The Indictment charges Edina Kljajić with acquiring for the purpose of distribution 1,629 CDs, DVDs and play station games of various content in an undetermined period of time until 18 January 2011, in her house in Cazin Municipality, without the authorization for distribution of picture and sound carriers and without the Contract on Representation, in violation of Articles 15 and 22 of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights (‘Official Gazette of BiH’ No. 63/10).
The suspect Edina Kljajić was thus acquiring works of author for the purpose of their distribution, without the authorization of the author or other holder of copyright, whereby she committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights, as referred to in Article 243, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The Indictment has been forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
