At the site of Borci, Konjic Municipality, an exhumation is ongoing under the supervision of an Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
Remains of one incomplete body have been found at this site.
The found mortal remains will be transported to the Sutina City Cemetery in Mostar, for autopsy, forensic analysis and identification.
The DNA analysis of this body will be performed in the laboratory of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).
This exhumation is being attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, representatives of the police of the Police Department in Konjic, an expert forensic pathologist and an Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The exhumation process is supervised by an Investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, who coordinates the work of police, forensic and other authorized officers carrying out the exhumation process, in accordance with the instructions given by the Prosecutor.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of conducting exhumations and tracing missing persons in all parts of BiH.
