Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime, Corruption and Terrorism of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH has issued an Indictment against the following person:
As a member of the organized crime group consisted of three more members (against whom USKOK has issued an Indictment in the Republic of Croatia), having clearly specified roles and tasks, he committed the criminal offense of Organized Crime as read with the Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs.
The Indictment alleges that the group was organized for the purpose of illicit international sale or purchase, transfer, transport or keeping of, or interceding in further international sale, sending and delivery of the heroin narcotic drug from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
According to the allegations in the Indictment, in the period between the beginning of January and the end of March of 2012, the accused was carrying out an illicit purchase, storage, hiding and sale of the heroin narcotic drug to the two members of the organized group, for the purpose of its further sale to the third member and to other buyers known to them in the territory of the Republic of Croatia.
In this way, the total amount of approximately 600 grams of the heroin narcotic drug was smuggled from the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Croatia on several occasions.
The Accused is also charged with procuring and keeping in his family house, on 22 March 2010, the firearms the keeping and procurement of which is forbidden to citizens pursuant to Article 7, paragraph 2 of the Law on Weapons and Ammunition of Republika Srpska (“Official Gazette of Republika Srpska”, No. 70/07).
Due to the aforementioned, the Accused is charged with the commission of the criminal offense of Organized Crime, as referred to in Article 250, Paragraph 2, as read with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under Article 195, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH, in conjunction with Article 54 of the same Code, and the criminal offense of Illegal Manufacturing and Trade of Weapons or Explosive Substances under Article 399, Paragraph 1, of the Criminal Code of Republika Srpska.
The Indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
