PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BIH IS AWAITING OFFICIAL CONFIRMATION OF INFORMATION ON THE ARREST OF NASER KELJMENDI
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH is in constant contact with BiH institutions in relation to the official confirmation of information on the arrest of the suspect Naser Keljmendi in the territory of Kosovo.
Naser Keljmendi is a suspect and under investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH for the criminal offenses of Organized Crime in conjunction with Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and the criminal offense of Murder.
Having carried out the arrests and searches ordered by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH within the scope of the action with the code name of Lutka (“A doll”) in September last year, acting upon the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the judicial authorities of our country issued an International Arrest Warrant after the suspect Keljmendi, who was on the run.
After it has received the official notification, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH will initiate legally prescribed activities together with other judicial and police institutions in BiH with the aim of extraditing the suspect to the judicial authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
