During the course of activities in detection and prosecution of corruption offenses, performed at the request of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, 3 more suspects were deprived of liberty.
The arrests took place in Mostar and Posušje.
These persons are suspected of having committed the criminal offenses of organized crime, illegal mediation, abuse of office or authority, and giving and accepting bribes, gifts or other forms of benefits.
Persons deprived of liberty shall be questioned within the legal deadline, following which a decision will be made whether custody motion should be filed or not.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH continues its activities in this case with the aim to proceed with the indictment.
The activities that were carried out are the biggest of its kind in terms of detection of corruption offenses committed by high officials in the post-Dayton BiH.
