Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Emir PURIĆ, born on November 28, 1977 in Travnik, where he resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, charged with the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment charges Emir PURIĆ to have put into circulation copyrighted works stored on CDs/DVDs (movies, music, series, cartoons, games) made in violation of applicable legal provisions on copyright, in his business premises in Travnik during unspecified period up to April 26, 2012.
The accused Emir PURIĆ is charged to have put into circulation copyrights multiplied without permission of the author, other copyright holder, or a person authorized to give permission, and as permission is required under the BiH Law, he thereby committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH " No. 63/10).
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
