An exhumation was carried out at the location of Jahorinski potok in Pale municipality under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. Incomplete remains of one body were exhumed.
The recovered remains shall be transported to the Ossuary „Sveti Marko“ in East Sarajevo for post mortem examination and forensic processing i.e. determination of the cause of death and collection of bone samples for identification of the victim through DNA analysis.
The exhumation process was supervised by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by the representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, a doctor working in the field of forensic medicine and police officers of the Police Station Pale and PSC East Sarajevo.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the missing in all parts of BiH.
