The Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against eight accused persons, charging them with war crimes committed against Serb victims in Kladanj.
The indictment was issued against the following persons:
- Safet MUJČINOVIĆ, born in 1949 in Srebrenik
- Selman BUSNOV, born in 1960 in Sokolac municipality
- Nusret MUHIĆ, born in 1960 in Kladanj
- Zijad HAMZIĆ, born on 1965 in Kladanj
- Ramiz HALILOVIĆ, born in 1961 in Kladanj
- Nedžad HODŽIĆ, born on 1968 in Kladanj
- Hariz HABIBOVIĆ, born in 1971 in Kladanj
- Osman GOGIĆ, born in 1971 in Kladanj
The accused are charged that during the war in BIH and the conflict between the Army of Republika Srpska and members of the Territorial Defense RBiH, while acting as officials and members of the Police, TD and the Military Police of the Kladanj municipality they, along with other members of the TD RBiH and the Public Security Station Kladanj, acted contrary to the Geneva Conventions relating to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.
The accused are charged with having, during the period from May 1992 to the second half of July 1993, participated in the unlawful detention of Serb civilians, inhuman treatment of civilians, beatings and inflictions of serious bodily injuries, denial of the right to a fair trial, denial of medical help to the sick and other inhumane acts and various forms of abuse of the civilian population in Stupari - a place located in Kladanj municipality.
The accused are charged with having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against the Civilians under Article 173 of the CC BiH and two accused persons: Selman BUSNOV and Safet MUJČINOVIĆ are charged with both command and personal responsibility.
The indictment, along with supporting evidence, was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
