BY ORDER OF THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE OF BIH, A JOINT POLICE OPERATION TARGETING ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS WAS CARRIED OUT

During the trial in the Ramo Brkić et al. Case the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and the State Investigation and Protection Agency - SIPA have come to know that some of the accused continued to commit criminal offenses of international illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs.

Operative and special investigative activities carried out in the field have led to information that organized production of narcotic drugs aiming for further sale in the EU countries is being carried out on multiple locations in the Una Sana Canton area.

The activities carried out up to this point resulted with the arrests of 8 persons while 10 locations were searched. During the search of a facility at the site of Glavice located at Grahovo - Velika Kladuša municipality one laboratory for cultivation of marijuana "skunk" was discovered.

Two persons with the initials P.S. and S.Š. were deprived of liberty in the premises of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the hearing in the Ramo Brkić et al. Case, while F.A.; P.DŽ,; P.M,; K.A,; C.C. and K.M. were arrested in Una Sana Canton.

The activities on questioning and operative processing of the suspects are being carried out in SIPA premises in Banja Luka by the representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and SIPA.
