An exhumation is being carried out at the location of Miševići in Hadžići municipality under the supervision of an Investigator of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH.
The remains of two persons were unearthed at this location and it is presumed that more remains are located at the spot.
The recovered remains shall be transported to the Identification Center in Visoko for post mortem examination, identification and forensic processing.
The DNA analysis of the remains shall be handled by the laboratory of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP).
The exhumation is attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, representatives of the Sarajevo Canton MoI, a doctor working in the field of forensic medicine and an Investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
The exhumation is supervised by an investigator of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, who acts in accordance with the instructions of the Prosecutor while coordinating the work of police, forensic experts and other authorized persons engaged in the process of exhumations.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing the missing persons in BiH, continues its activities in the process of tracing and exhuming the missing in all parts of BiH.
