The Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against HODAJ Špejtim charging him with the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits under Article 218, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against HODAJ Špejtim, born on July 7, 1980 in Prizren municipality - the Republic of Serbia.
The indictment alleges that during the control of the Border Police at the international border crossing "Uvac" on entry from the Republic of Serbia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on December 27, 2011 at about 03:00 hours it was discovered that the accused HODAJ Špejtim does not meet the applicable legal requirements on movement and stay of aliens and asylum, and was thus taken out of the bus.
As further alleged in the indictment, the accused HODAJ Špejtim has offered money to authorized officials in the official premises of the Border police unit telling them to have a drink and to enable his unrestricted entry into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The accused HODAJ Špejtim has, in this way, offered a gift to officials of BiH institutions to abstain from performing an act which ought to be performed, thereby committing the criminal offense of Giving Gifts and Other Forms of Benefits under Article 218 Paragraph 1 of the CC of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
