GERMAN GOVERNMENT CONTINUES TO OFFER SUPPORT FOR THE BiH PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE AND THE COURT OF BiH

The German Embassy in Sarajevo and The Registry on Monday signed a 600.000 KM Donation Agreement, in support of the operation of the BiH Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH. The donation agreement was signed by Mrs. Christiana Markert, Deputy German Ambassador to BiH, and Mrs. Dubravka Piotrovski, Registrar for the BiH Prosecutor's Office.

The donation represents a continuation of German support for the establishment of the rule of law and strengthening the capacities for prosecuting war crimes and organized crime in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The funds will be used to support the work of the Special Departments of the BiH Prosecutor's Office for War Crimes and Organized Crime.

During the official ceremony, representatives of the German Government and The Registry stressed the importance of strengthening the judicial capacities in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of a more efficient rule of law.
