Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has submitted to the Court of BiH a Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures on 12 persons, including a ban on leaving a place of residence, prohibition from meeting with other suspects, as well as mandatory occasional reporting to the relevant police station.
Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has submitted to the Court of BiH a Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures on 12 persons, residents of Grude, Široki Brijeg, Bijeljina, Posušje, Ljubinje and Bugojno, respectively.
These persons are under investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH and they are suspected of crimes of Illicit Trade in Excise Products under Article 210(a), and Illicit Trade under Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The aforementioned persons were deprived of liberty in yesterday’s action which was carried out in several towns throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, pursuant to the Order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. During this action, premises on several locations were searched and objects with which the respective criminal offense was committed were found and temporarily seized.
Since the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is conducting an extensive investigation which will require carrying out additional investigative activities, a Motion for Imposing Prohibiting Measures on the 12 suspects has been submitted to the Court of BiH, pursuant to Article 126 of the BiH CPC.
