Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against A.N. born in 1948 in Lopare municipality, residing in Tuzla, BiH citizen, for Impermissible Use of Copyrights.
The indictment charges A.N. to have on November 24, 2011 put into circulation 3222 pieces of counterfeit image and sound carriers i.e. 2007 CDs and 1215 DVDs at a price of 3 KM (BAM) per piece at a sales booth on the town marker in Tuzla, without the consent of the author, other copyright holder or a person authorized to give permission and aware that these copies were made contrary to the applicable provisions of the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette" No. 63/10), thereby committing the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the CC BiH, in conjunction with the Law on Copyright and Related Rights ("Official Gazette of BiH, no.63/10).
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
