CUSTODY MOTION FILED FOR TWO PERSONS

Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion with the Court BiH to remand two persons suspected of committing the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs under ARTICLE 195 of the Criminal Code of BiH, into custody.

Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion to the Court of BiH to remand the following suspects into custody:

-        S.D.

-        G.Ž.

These persons were suspected of having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and deprived of liberty by the police officers of the Border Police of BiH, IBC Deleuša.

The suspects are under investigation by the Prosecutor's Office of BiH for suspicion of having, on March 13, 2012. at 06:15 hrs attempted to import into Bosnia and Herzegovina about 12.6 kilograms of the narcotic drug Marijuana in hidden compartments of the motor vehicle "Renault" but were detected and deprived of liberty by police officers of the Border Police of BiH.

Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH filed a motion with the Court of BiH to remand the suspects into custody on grounds stipulated in Article 132, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph a) of the CPC BiH i.e. due to risk of flight, given that both suspects are citizens of the Republic of Montenegro and that they would render themselves inaccessible to judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina if they were to flee.

Custody motion was filed with the Court of BiH.
