Prosecutor of Department III issued an indictment against Ekrem Sivro, born on August 5, 1962 in Zenica, where he resides, a citizen of BiH.
The indictment charges Ekrem Sivro that during the 2010 and early 2011 in the photo store located in Zenica, he illegally stored audio and video files of various copyrights on the computer, and then used computer equipment for transfer the content to CDs and DVDs, made CD / DVD covers or them, and subsequently put into circulation through other persons.
As alleged in the indictment, during the search of the facility in question on January 19, 2011 a central processing unit with an internal hard drive, four external hard drives, printer and 520 DVDs and CDs as well as two sets of a religious theme work stored on 11 DVDs and CDs that were prepared for further distribution and sale, were found and seized.
The accused Ekrem Sivro is charged with copying and putting copyrights into circulation without permission of the author or other copyright holder or a person authorized to give permission which is required under the Law of BiH he thereby committed the criminal offense of Impermissible Use of Copyrights under Article 243, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
