20.03.2026. 11:21INDICTMENT ISSUED FOR ILLICIT TRAFFICKING OF NARCOTIC DRUGS
The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH issued an indictment against Ahmed Halilović*, born in 1997 in Sarajevo, with previous convictions, a citizen of BiH. The accused is charged with having, in August 2024, with the intention of obtaining unlawful material gain, illegally brokered in the international sale and transfer of the narcotic drug Amphetamine in the amount of 947 whole and 77 broken tablets with a total net weight of 619.222 grams, as well as a substance with a net weight of 83.910 grams of the narcotic drug Ecstasy (MDMA). After the shipment from the Netherlands was received the narcotic drugs were found at a post office in the Sarajevo Canton, and subsequently seized from the accused by members of the Federal Police Department following a search. The accused is charged with having committed the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in narcotic drugs under Article 195, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This announcement does not prejudice the outcome of the criminal proceedings and does not violate the principle of the presumption of innocence. A person shall be considered innocent of a crime until guilt has been established by a final verdict (Article 3, paragraph 1 of the CPC BiH).
