- Vojin Pavlović, born in 1976 in Bratunac, a citizen of Bosnia and
Herzegovina, against whom another criminal proceedings are being
conducted before the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
This accused person is charged to have consciously and willingly condoned the commission of the criminal offence of genocide, as the President of the Executive Board of the Republika Srpska "Eastern Alternative" Association, in the period from June until 12 July 2023, in the area of Srebrenica and Bratunac, during the commemoration held on 11 July 2023 and the burial of the victims of genocide in the municipality of Srebrenica, by putting up posters that publicly condone and try to justify actions defined as crimes by final judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment alleges that the aforementioned accused condoned and tried to justify the crime of genocide by organizing a public meeting and making the posters for the meeting available to the public, and then by giving his speech at that public meeting in which he condoned and tried to justify the crime of genocide established by final judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whereby he committed the criminal offence of Provoking Ethnic, Racial and Religious Hatred, Conflicts and Intolerance, referred to in Article 145a, Paragraph 3 and Paragraph 4, in conjunction with Paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina for confirmation, and the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina subsequently confirmed it.
