The suspects are under investigation for criminal offences of organized crime related to the illicit trafficking in larger quantities of narcotic drugs. They are suspected of taking part in an organised group that smuggled large quantities of various narcotic drugs into BiH from neighbouring countries and from the Republic of Slovenia.

At the place of one of the suspects, a hidden passenger motor vehicle was also found, which was used to smuggle the narcotic drug “cocaine” in the Sarajevo area several months ago, and which the police agencies were looking for for a longer period of time.

The suspects were handed over within the legal deadline to the prosecutor-in-charge of the Special Department for Organised Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, who interrogated the suspects and proposed a custody measure for one suspect and banning measures for the other suspect.
