PERSON ACCUSED OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS ENTERS INTO PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

The accused Radoslav Stojaković, born in 1980 in Valjevo, citizen of the Republic of Serbia, has admitted his guilt in the presence of his attorney, for the commission of the criminal offence of Smuggling of Persons, as referred to in Article 189 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

PERSON ACCUSED OF SMUGGLING OF PERSONS ENTERS INTO PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

The accused has admitted to have participated in the organization of the transport for nine (9) illegal migrants, in which crime he was detected in the area of the Una-Sana Canton and prevented from committing it by the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Pursuant to the Plea Agreement, the pronouncement of the sentence of imprisonment for a term between six (6) and seven (7) months has been proposed against the accused, as well as the confiscation of objects used while arranging the commission of the crime and during the commission of the crime and confiscation of money or unlawful material gain acquired by the perpetration of the aforementioned criminal offence.

The proposed sanction is in accordance with the role and responsibility of the accused in the commission of the said criminal offence.

The Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
