PERSON ACCUSED OF ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS ENTERS INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

The third accused Edin Arnautović (1980) has entered into a plea agreement admitting his guilt, and thus the case has been completed and the sentence of imprisonment has been proposed.

 

PERSON ACCUSED OF ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS ENTERS INTO A PLEA AGREEMENT ADMITTING HIS GUILT

The accused Edin Arnautović, born in 1980 in Sarajevo, where he resides, with prior convictions, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has fully admitted his guilt for the committed criminal offense of Organized Crime, as referred to in Article 250, Paragraph 2, in conjunction with the criminal offense of Illicit Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs, as referred to in Article 195, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina, all in conjunction with Article 54 of the same Code.

The Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina proposes the pronouncement of the sentence of imprisonment against the accused, for a term of one (1) year. Also, the security measure of confiscation of objects used in the perpetration of the said criminal offence is proposed to be imposed against the accused, including a mobile telephone with the corresponding SIM card.  

By virtue of signing this Plea Agreement, the accused has fully acknowledged his responsibility for the committed criminal offense and he has waived his right to a trial and the right to appeal to the criminal sanction pronounced against him by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the basis on this Plea Agreement.

This Plea Agreement has been forwarded to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
