DELEGATION OF THE PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE OF BiH ATTENDS THE MARKING OF 150 YEARS OF THE OPERATION OF THE COURT OF CASSATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY

Representatives of judicial institutions from all over the world are attending the ceremony, and the delegation from BiH is headed by Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH Gordana Tadić.

Representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are attending the marking of 150 years of work of the Court of Cassation of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara. In addition to the representatives of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, the delegation from Bosnia and Herzegovina also comprises Vesna Antonić, President of the RS Supreme Court, with judges from the said court.

The attendees at the ceremony were addressed by President of the Court of Cassation, Ismail Rustu Cirit, who spoke about the work of this judicial institution and the historical role of the Court of Cassation in the judicial system of the Republic of Turkey, as well as by Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the programme, it is foreseen to have presentations on the history and work of the Court of Cassation, as well as on the judicial institutions of the Republic of Turkey and the reform of the judicial system through history.
