ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR GORDANA TADIĆ, MET WITH THE APOSTOLIC NUNCIO TO BIH H.E. LUIGI PEZZUTO

The rule of law in Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as cooperation at the regional and international level, were the central topics discussed at the meeting.

Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, Gordana Tadić, met with the Apostolic Nuncio, a diplomatic representative of the Vatican to BiH, H.E. Luigi Pezzuto.

The issues discussed at the meeting were activities on strengthening the rule of law, developing international cooperation and the contributing effect of the rule of law to peace and reconciliation in BiH.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, together with partner law enforcement agencies, was actively involved in security during the visit of Pope Francis to Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2015.

The Apostolic Nuncio, Luigi Pezzuto, who is the fifth diplomatic representative of the Holy See and Pope in post-Dayton BiH, voiced his support for activities aimed at strengthening the rule of law in BiH.
