RE-EXHUMATION AND ASSOCIATION OF THE FOUND MORTAL REMAINS ONGOING IN POTOČARI MEMORIAL CENTRE, AS ORDERED BY THE BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE

In the Memorial Centre in Potočari, re-exhumation and association of the additionally found mortal remains of the previously buried victims of Srebrenica genocide is being carried out upon the order of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Re-association, or joining the mortal remains with the previously found and identified victims, is being conducted in respect of thirty-eight (38) identified victims, in whose graves the subsequently found mortal remains will be laid down.    

The re-exhumation process is being coordinated by the Investigators of the Special Department for War Crimes, who are acting upon the authorisations received by the Prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
