ACTING CHIEF PROSECUTOR MET WITH DIRECTOR OF THE AGENCY FOR PREVENTION OF CORRUPTION AND COORDINATION OF THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION

Joint cooperation of institutions in the prosecution of corruption offenses was the central topic of the meeting.

Acting Chief Prosecutor, Gordana Tadić held a meeting with the Director of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption, Hazim Šabotić.

The meeting participants focused on the cooperation of prosecutors, investigators and other staff of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH working on cases of corruption together with the staff and officials of the Agency for Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH is conducting a number of investigations relating to corruption offenses i.e. Abuse of Office or Official Authority and other forms of corruption, and the Agency for prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption is working to strengthen the capacity for documentation, reporting and prosecution of criminal offenses related to corruption. It was concluded that the joint cooperation will certainly help improve the efficient fight against the perpetrators of corruption offenses.
