PROHIBITING MEASURES REQUESTED FOR THE SUSPECT K.A. DETAINED WITHIN THE OPERATION "LUTKA"

Following the questioning of the suspect K.A. (1973) who was arrested by SIPA officers and handed over to the Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the Assigned Prosecutor forwarded a motion to the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina requesting imposure of prohibiting measures for the aforementioned suspect.

The requested prohibiting measures referred to in Article 126 of the CPC BiH, relate  inter alia, to confiscation of passport, house arrest and periodical reporting to the relevant police station, as well as ban on contacting and meeting with suspects and witnesses in this case.

These prohibiting measures were requested in order to ensure the presence of the suspect in the further course of the proceedings.

The suspect K.A. is under investigation in the case codenamed "Lutka" /doll/ conducted against a number of persons suspected of organized crime and several other serious criminal offenses.

The Prosecutor's Office of BiH continues its investigation in this matter aiming to proceed with the indictment.
